Line of Sight Reconstructions
In many cases, the line of sight between two drivers (or a pedestrian and driver) is a factor in crashes. For example, an intersection may be located just over the crest of a hill, limiting a driver’s view as he/she pulls out from the intersection. Our offices can measure the profile of a roadway, the radius of a curve, locations of trees or any other information that may factor into sightlines between two individuals. From this information, a scaled drawing can be completed to provide a visual representation of the sightlines.
